Mayanak Agarwal wins the prestigious Madhavrao Scindia award for the highest run scorer in domestic season for the year 2017-18.
The board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) had organised the annual award ceremony NAMAN in Bangalore on June 12th 2018.
The programme was conducted in order to felicitate all Indian cricketers who have given outstanding performances both in the international and the domestic circuit. Indian captain Virat Kohli, Indian women's cricket team and many other distinguished guests were present in the ceremony. Many domestic players were awarded for their performances for the 2016-17 and as well as 2017-18.
It was the time when Karnataka's cricketer was selected the recipient of the prestigious Madhavrao Scindia award which is given for the highest run scorer in the domestic season. Mayank had an excellent domestic season and this has landed him in a place to be getting the award for the highest run scorer for 2017-18.
Although mayank didn't have a good IPL season , he was lucky enough to be picked by the BCCI for the India A team, which is touring England. Well actually there is nothing that luck has do, but mayank actually deserved a place in the main Indian team but still being in the India A team is also no less and is a great place to improve yourself. If Mayank's tremendous from continues even with the India A team then we could probably see him playing in the main team, very sooner. He has been such a treasure for Cric Karnataka and we hope to see him shine, at the international arena.
